The outcome of Durban was not perfect, but at least we see some steps in the right direction. I think more attention though should be paid to Australia's unique new carbon tax law, which taxes carbon emissions directly and guarantees a floor price per tonne of carbon. It seems much simpler to implement than cap and trade.
